Parent Resources

October 2017 Calendar for Parent Resource Center

Parent Portal

Parents can now access their student’s information from any computer with an internet connection. The My Polk Schools Parent Portal allows parents to check current grades, obtain immunization status, learn if their child had any recorded discipline or attendance issues throughout the day, check their child’s current lunch account balance, and even see what their child purchased in the lunchroom – all before their child comes home from school. Please visit the CLES Main office to receive log in information.

Parent  Involvement

Crystal Lake Elementary is a true neighborhood school. With the majority of our students within walking distance, there is always something fun and educational happening each month. Math Nights, Reading Nights, Writing Nights and Science Experiment Nights as well as regular PTO and School Advisory Council meetings are a few of the opportunities we provide to increase parent involvement. Please check our schedule for upcoming events. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Family Resource Center

If you are in need of resources to help your child, please stop by the Family Resource Center. Parents can check out materials to work with their child at home. We have several educational games and resources .  We would be happy to help you in any way we can to ensure the success of your child's education.

Volunteering Opportunities

We are always in need of volunteers here at Crystal Lake Elementary. You may contact Deanna Gambill  at 863-499-2966, if you are interested in working in any of the areas below. Volunteers must be approved through Polk County School Board to be a volunteer in a Polk County School. It is a proven fact that children tend to do better in school when their parents are involved.
